Hi Doc,

It was nice to come across your blog during my search for info regarding extreme period pain post-saplingectomy.

I had to have my left tube removed due to an ectopicpregnancy around this time last year. It went well other than the fact that now I have extremely excruciating pain every alternate cycle - very clearly on the left side of my abdomen. It gets me bed ridden for a day at least and is almost crippling. Could you please refer me to a website where I can get any helpful info about this? Will be really thankful.

There should ideally br no pain post lap salpingectomy in alternate cycles.

I don't know of any website which can give a direct explanation of the same. Please get an ultrasound scan done to rule out haematosalpinx or hydrosalpinx in case your doctor did a partial salpingectomy.Hope that helps
